Sedley Place Digital Enhances One Aldwych’s On-line PresenceSedley Place Digital has just completed the rebuild of the website for one of London's finest award-winning, contemporary luxury hotels, One Aldwych - as part of a brand development project led by Pineapple Marketing. Sedley Place Digital's brief was to improve One Aldwych's on-line brand experience and visual presentation; to increase on-line sales transactions through improved customer journeys, and to introduce easy-to use technologies, which would support the future development of the site. The new website features high quality, user-focused design which clearly conveys the developed brand's values; greatly improves the website's architecture and navigation; incorporates a new content management system for easy updating of all of the content by One Aldwych's team, and configuration of the site to play on all major platforms, including tablets and mobiles. In addition to these features Sedley Place Digital also recommended that the site incorporate added value elements, such as an interactive visitor map with ten searchable categories, such as landmarks, West End theatres, galleries, local shopping, transport and business districts (http://onealdwych.com/location.aspx), and customer-focused content (http://onealdwych.com/stay-on-business.aspx). Sedley Place Digital undertook the rebuild as part of a team comprising Pineapple Marketing, Occupancy Marketing and Inaria - all tasked to re-launch the hotel on a specific date. According to Emily Jewell of Pineapple Marketing, "We were tasked to re-brand the hotel and launch the developed site at 7pm on 7th March 2011. Despite some last minute changes Sedley Place Digital came up trumps. When One Aldwych's owners logged on at this precise date and time they all found the new site up and running".
