Fanta's New Global Brand Campaign

The very first stage of Fanta's new global brand campaign "Grab a taste of Friday" kicked off on the landmark Piccadilly Sign with a new countdown animation designed by Sedley Place. Counting down to every Friday's the animation will promote the less serious attitude of the brand by celebrating the positive feeling associated with Fridays. This is the first global work for Fanta in nearly five years and set to run throughout 2010 with a set of brand experiences targeting gatekeepers as well as teenagers.

The animation takes all key elements from a new outdoor and on pack campaign to launch in the spring and weaves them together around the six day countdown. From Sedley Place's guidance countdowns have become a popular way to attract attention from consumers in Piccadilly Circus having being used for both Coke Zero's recent film partnerships Quantum of Solace and Avatar, however this is the first long term countdown sequence helping to heighten the anticipation to the end of the working week.
