Sedley Place helps turn Piccadilly Circus Yellow for Marie Curie Cancer CareIn a first for the advertisers in Piccadilly Circus on the 1st March all the digital screens - Coca-Cola, Samsung, McDonalds, TDK and Piccadilly Lite - will be turning yellow to promote Marie Curie Cancer Care's Great Daffodil Appeal. Between 7pm & 8pm all advertisers will be running the same animation across all screens in one concerted effort for the charity. Sedley Place, who persuaded the brands to take part, also designed and produced all the animations. The activity supports the national campaign where the London Eye, The National Theatre, Trafalgar Square, Gateshead Millennium Bridge, Spinnaker Tower, the Nottingham Wheel and many other buildings across the U.K. will also be turning yellow. Marie Curie Cancer Care is one of the UK's largest charities. Marie Curie Nurses provide free care to terminally ill people in their own homes or in one of the charity's hospices. The charity expects to provide care to around 29,000 patients this year. The charity is best known for its network of Marie Curie Nurses who work in communities across the UK, making it possible for people to have the choice of being hospices to provide more free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes and the charity's hospices. <<Back to News & Events |
