Sedley Place appointed to design and project manage new Piccadilly Circus displays for Coca-Cola & Samsung

Sedley Place has been appointed the main agency to project manage the tendering, recommendation, design, installation and commissioning of the two replacement landmark digital displays for Coca-Cola and Samsung in Piccadilly Circus, London.

The existing displays have been in continuous operation 24 hours a day since their installation in 2003 and 2005 for Coca-Cola and Samsung respectively, consequently both are nearing their "half-life" and due replacement. Given both clients are tier one Olympic sponsors, the games have been a key catalyst for the project with the deadline for completion set for the end of November 2011.

The tender stage has now been completed with both clients selecting Yesco (Young Electronic Signs Co.) as their chosen LED Manufacturer after a lengthy period of analysis and evaluation. This will be Yesco's first LED display in Europe outside of the U.S. The project now moves on to planning with installation due to commence in July.
