Bespoke typefaces are often designed as part of a brand identity to give greater differentiation in a crowded market place. Hand drawn lettering is a highly specialised artistic skill and, as such, it forms a key aspect of the branding and identity services offered at Sedley Place.

Many of the unique fonts designed by Sedley Place are in common worldwide usage - VAG Rounded, originally designed for Volkswagen, was adopted by Apple for all their keyboards since 2007.
