Our objective was to bring consistency of typography throughout
the entire Johnnie Walker range of packaging. We wanted to create
for Diageo, a suite of ownable branded elements so as to add
uniqueness and richness to the brand.
Our insight was to develop a script typeface which looks like
handwriting coupled with a display typeface based upon the Johnnie
Walker logotype.
The result is that these assets are now being used on all
repackaging and new product development for the Johnnie Walker
range.
