Our objective was to create a stylish yet affordable new chair for the classroom environment that meets modern ergonomic standards, and encourages safety.

Our insight was to devise a patented geometry for the chair which actively discourages children from tipping backwards when seated. The distinctive
chair design forms the basis of a full range of classroom seating products offered as a family of furniture solutions for learning spaces.

The Max Chair has been heralded as a groundbreaking innovation in educational furniture. It has currently been introduced into 640 schools across the UK and the Middle East, and is now available as a 98% recycled product.
