Christina Ronsyn is a highly experienced consultant, skilled in delivering creative concepts and management solutions to the hospitality and luxury retail industry. She’s extremely passionate about what she does and has an enviable track record of helping brands like Mnky Hse, South Kensington Club and Zuma achieve success in crowded and ever-changing markets.
Christina briefed Sedley Place to create her brand identity and then write, design and build her website. She wanted a visual identity which was stylish and sophisticated, and had luxury connotations and gravitas.
We responded by creating a brandmarque out of Christina’s initials. These were given a distinctive treatment, redolent of art deco’s highly stylised look. The marque employs gold foil in its printed formats to enhance it sophistication and quality.
Anyone who knows Christina knows how fond she is of the colour grey so we accompanied the gold foil with Cool Grey 9u. This is used for her sans serif wordmarque, based on the typeface DTL Nobel T, and as a background colour to items like her business card.
Moving on to Christina’s website we helped her plan its features and write its contents. We then designed and built the site. In writing the site we sought to capture Christina’s enthusiasm, expertise and experience, using attention-grabbing headlines and layered text in a palette of gold and grey.
The design of the site in turn employs her newly created visual identity to present a stylish overall look, with images used to project the world she operates in and her background. The font Poiret One was used for headlines to continue the art deco aesthetic. The site also features a portrait of Christina, following a photo-shoot we art directed with the photographer David Burton.
The launch of the website (www.christinaronsyn.com) was the culmination of a very enjoyable project, and one which achieved Christina’s objectives on many fronts. In her own words,
“Sedley Place gave me a solid and beautiful client-facing platform for my business, a brand image that proudly represents me and how I operate. Their process to achieve this was impressive and delivered the confidence that my company was in good hands. I have and will continue to recommended them to clients who are looking for an agency that will ask the right questions, listen to the answers, and then give weight and depth to their project and company image.”
